Ravenroyd Equestrian

Everybody learns differently and it is important that you choose an instructor who teaches in a way that best suits you. Once you find the right instructor both your riding and enjoyment will improve. At Ravenroyd we have three very different instructors, if you would like to specify a particular instructor, please mention on booking.

LianaB.H.S.A.I. is the owner of Ravenroyd Equestrian. Liana completed her training at Ingestre Stables (under 2 FBHS's) in 2003 and has been teaching and working horses ever since. Liana is training with Philippe Karl (School of Légèreté) on the only UK instructors course from 2011 - 2013.
Liana concentrates on teaching the correct riding position, believing that the horse's body mirrors the riders , if the rider is not sitting correctly , then the horse can not perform to the best of his ability. Liana teaches using classical riding principles and Philippe Karls method of 'Légèreté' which she is studying currently.

Tracy teaches every Saturday at Ravenroyd. She is a very patient teacher who enjoys dressage and is the RDA county instructor for West Yorkshire. Clients are always made to feel welcome and enjoy Tracys friendly and relaxed approach, whilst improving confidence and developing into quiet but effective riders. Tracy is also auditing on the Philippe Karl UK instructors course.

Natalie BHS Stage 1 is our Head Yard Girl. Natalie teaches beginer lesson and runs the Pony Club. Natlie will ensure the children are progressing through their tests and badges and developing an all round equestrian education.

All our instructors hold current First Aid Certificates and have attended the relevant Child Protection Courses. Our Instructors and Yard Staff are also CRB checked.
